This is a small 11x4" w/c painting done as the sun was coming up when we were on vacation with Carl and Dorothea up in Highlands, N.C. at Dorothea's boss's guest cottage. Great place for making memories.

- grown up girl with granddaughter. Plein air painter - watercolor and oil - love acrylic in studio - Have an old Mazda 4 wheel drive van that is just the right height to paint off the back with the door up protecting me from sun or rain. 16 years old it is and it will be hard to replace. always packed but not used enough (for painting that is) I see paintings all around me.
